Unauthorized Transactions

If an unauthorized transaction was posted to your account, you can dispute the charge and report fraud online.

Lost/Stolen Cards

If your card is lost or stolen, call Card Services immediately at (281) 285-4551 or toll-free at (800) 272-7328 to report it to VISA.

Select option 2, option 3, and then option 4 for Debit
Select option 2, option 4, and then option 4 for Credit

Breached Email Addresses

Email addresses obtained from unrelated company data breaches are sometimes used for fraudulent activity. Members may check whether their email address has appeared in known breaches using a trusted external resource:

If your email address is identified in a breach, consider taking the following precautions:

  • Change passwords on important online accounts
  • Use a unique password for each website
  • Enable multi-factor authentication where available
  • Monitor your financial accounts for unusual activity

This resource searches breaches outside of SECU and does not indicate that your account here has been compromised.

Checking & Savings Fraud

If you suspect any fraudulent activity on your checking or savings (share) account, please contact SECU immediately at secu@slb.com or call (281) 285-4551.

Credit Card Fraud

If you suspect any fraudulent activity on your SECU Visa Credit Card, please contact SECU immediately at secu@slb.com or call (281) 285-4551.

Wire Fraud

If you suspect any fraudulent activity on incoming or outgoing wires, please contact SECU immediately at secu@slb.com or call (281) 285-4551.
